Drain your ZF automatic gearbox without special tools or a diagnostic case .
Maintain the operation of your ZF automatic gearbox with our complete original ZF oil change kits.
The oil change must be carried out between 80,000km to 120,000km or every 8 years maximum according to the recommendations of the manufacturer ZF who manufactured your gearbox.
The oil and the gearbox filter become saturated with filings, friction disc lining residues and in addition the oil loses its anti-wear qualities and its original viscosity.
This includes cars whose manufacturer, for example BMW, indicates "lifetime lubrication" because the concept of "lifetime lubrication" implies changing the automatic transmission well before the normal due date at a very high price.
Draining the automatic gearbox is not very complicated, you must be careful and follow the instructions (in French) supplied with the kit.
Under no circumstances should the computer be reprogrammed because the transmission mechatronics will automatically take into account the change in oil viscosity by self-adaptation. So no need for a diagnostic tool.
