This oil is specific to BMW and there is no equivalent oil available on the market.
The active differential (ZF Vector Drive ® ) has two clutches controlled by servo motors which almost continuously correct the distribution of torque between the left and right wheel of the vehicle, which places heavy demands on the lubricant.
This oil is intended to drain the final left and right part of the active differential and is specifically suitable for clutches which distribute torque between the wheels as well as for the lubrication of planetary gear trains.
For the differential middle part (bevel gear train) you must use the oil according to manufacturer recommendations (capacity 2L) BMW 83 22 2 295 532 Hypoid Axle Oil G1 , BMW Synthetik OSP 75w-90 oil or Castrol Syntrax Longlife 75W-90
