6-speed DSG gearbox change DQ250

Procedure for draining a DSG DQ250 gearbox

1) Engine stopped

2) Place the car horizontally

3) Shift lever in P

4) The gearbox oil temperature must not exceed 35°C

5) The drain plug is located near the joint of the two crankcases, near the anti-torque flange

6) Remove the engine cover and dismantle the air filter box

the filter is located on the box near the brake master cylinder

7) Remove the oil filter

8) Refit the oil filter with the new oiled gasket (tightening torque: 20 Nm)

9) Reassemble all previously removed accessories

10) Remove the M14 drain plug (measure the total quantity of oil drained for control)

11) Remove the level tube (in the axis of the cap) 8 mm BTR key

10) once the box has been emptied (from 4 to 5L) re-level the tube (tightening torque: 3 Nm)
